My status as a literary snob has always been somewhat undermined by a guilty fondness for graphic novels (not comics! graphic novels!), especially those of a superhero bent. One superhero whose adventures have never been properly chronicled in this genre is that amazing intellectual powerhouse, Charles Darwin - at least until now. As part of the celebrations surrounding Darwin’s bicentennial, the Bristol Cultural Development Partnership have released a free book outlining the eminent naturalist’s life and work, in graphic novel format.

It’s aimed at the kiddies, so anyone expecting an in-depth analysis of Darwin’s later work on earthworms or his turbulent relationship with Captain Fitzroy should probably look elsewhere, but it does make an excellent introduction to both the man himself and the theory of Natural Selection for anyone who’s coming at the subject from scratch.

I REALLY want a copy of your Darwin graphic bio - but I live in the US where it's not available! Any chance of your posting a PDF version so folks like me outside the UK can DL it? Thanks!
