Dear Sirs,

We live in Woking, Surrey, and as far as I can see Surrey is not on the locations list. I so wanted this book for by son.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours sincerely

Mrs Kozar

In response to the above, and other emails received, the Lost World Read is being run in areas where local authorities and other local or regional partners have provided the funds for the books and support materials. These are: Bristol and the rest of the South West of England (excluding Gloucestershire); Edinburgh and Glasgow; the areas covered by Hampshire County Library and Portsmouth City Library services; City of Westminster; Shropshire - though at this stage it is confined to Shrewsbury Library. It is too late for other areas to join in now as all the publications have been printed and distributed across the participating areas. We are not in a position to post copies to people. However, the full text edition of The Lost World should be available in most library services around the country to borrow, and the special adaptation we have produced for the project can be downloaded from this website in PDF or Word format, as can the reader's guide to the novel. There are also two audio versions available from this site. These downloads can be accessed by anyone, free of charge.

I was disappointed not to have been successful so far in my quest for a hard copy of the supporting material booklet... I asked in about three different places that stocked the books so far without success..... I don't like to stare too intently at computer screens for too long!

Thanks
